About Me

After 7 years of increasingly challenging leadership roles as an Army Officer and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, I left military service to pursue a corporate career in technology. I have been an agile transformation leader for 7 years, first as a PMO director and Agile Coach, then as a VP of Agile Practices for a large financial services firm.

My passion for coaching stems from a passion to transform the world of work. As an agile coach and agile transformation leader, I do this on a broad scale for global organizations.  For individuals, I use coaching to discover work as a source of purpose, growth and joy for all human beings.  Ikigai, a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being” is the intersection of what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for.  With coaching, I can help people awaken awareness, take heart-based and integrated action, and transform any aspect of their work or life to achieve more purpose, growth and joy.

I continually see managers and emerging leaders all around me struggle with professional challenges in the workplace. These may be interpersonal challenges, or something that person is struggling with internally, and can be in the workplace or at home. In any case, there is untapped potential and unrealized opportunity to cultivate more awareness at work of how we think, feel, and behave. Working professionals should hone attention to mental fitness (mind), just as an athlete would attend to their physical fitness (body). I use coaching to help my clients make time and space to recuperate. From there we build skills and then improve the personal resilience, adaptability, and effectiveness that transform lives and companies for the better. As a coach, I will be your partner at every level as you become the person and leader you want to be.
